What are the benefits of speaking at an LMA Annual Conference?
Speaking to an LMA audience can expand your reach and enhance career opportunities. You will make new connections with LMA attendees and strengthen relationships with co-speakers (if applicable) and the 2025 Annual Conference Advisory Committee (ACAC). Each session will participate in a variety of prep calls that include coaching opportunities to ensure your content “sticks”! In addition, speaking at a conference gives you a platform to establish credibility, position yourself as a leader, and improve your public speaking skills.
In addition, your session, headshot and bio will be used in promotion of the conference, giving you broad visibility among your peers and beyond.
What is the speaker registration and travel policy?
As a thank you for sharing their knowledge and experience, speakers receive 50% off the early-bird registration rate. Speakers do not receive an honorarium and are responsible for their own travel and any associated expenses.
How many potential sessions can I submit?
For Option 1, there is no limit! For Option 2, you may only submit once. You may submit to one or both options. To ensure a well-balanced program, we aim to limit speakers to one session per conference.
Do I need to work in the legal space to submit?
Absolutely not! We recognize there is a lot to learn from different industries and seek diversity of thought and experience.
Am I limited to the topics and themes above?
No! While we are confident LMA attendees will find the topics above valuable and relevant, we welcome all innovative and engaging submissions.
When will I be notified if my submission has been accepted?
Submitters will be notified by late-September.
Can I edit my proposal after I submit?
Yes, please contact education@legalmarketing.org with your changes.
